Does anyone have any advice on getting around a Feature Transfer Error -- Catastrophic Failure when trying to install MOTB?

I am fully patched for NWN2. For some reason MOTB begins to installs then displays the error message. I then learn that it has removed my NWN2 launcher and updater. I have had to uninstall NWN2; then reinstall; then update patches again twice without success.

Try installing without any patching along the way. Make sure all associated files from previous installs are purged first (..both the game folder and the nwn2 folder in your "documents" section)
