Party of lvl 11- 16 led by lvl 11-12-13 Kens-Mage-Thief, p*ssing about in Athkatla at night busily solving a few minor quests.

Installed the part of Tactics where you get hunted by some pretty high level and dangerous groups.
Installed SCS II, Ascension, etc.

Bridge,
Random Encounter spawns Group 3 (the most dangerous one) - dealt with.
Kill the childslaying Gnome, carry head to government, go to see Unger Hilldark

Slum,

Random Encounter spawns Group 3 (the most dangerous one) - dealt with.
walk to other end of slum
Random Encounter spawns Group 3 (the most dangerous one) - dealt with.

Slightly low on spells go to temple, "Good boy, now go find Travin"

Back to slum,
Random Encounter spawns Group 1, then a round later Group 2 -.

During the fight another Group 3 spawns - Dealt with them all.

Time to heal and pick up loot guys...

Hey... what is that"

Your heroic reputation has attracted the attention of...

Another Group 2 spawns.

That was actually quite an epic fight against random encounters.

Was good fun, anyone else had as much fun from a random encounter?

You mean those groups with Shadow Druids from tactics?

I had them tag along during Kuroisan fight once, and then the "This is an unsanctioned use of magical energy" Cowled Buzz-killers popped too.
Blast of the fiftieth aoe spell killed some civilians, which led to a lovely reputation drop, and "For your crimes.. bla bla" Order Douchebags appeared.

At this point it's a daily routine, really :D

Funny you should mention it, one of the groups just tagged onto my fight with Kuriosan...

His Cloudkills are doing them no good though.

Yeah, it was fun have 4 random encounters the same night. The point of random is kind of lost if you can predict that every time you are outside at night you are going to be attacked. But it was fun none the less. Using all your skills (and spells) on such "trivial" non-boss fights.
I dearly wished to see a random dragon encounter, but never happened for me :( . Guess I will just have to keep trying...
