Throne Of Bhaal FixPack 1.1 and Separate Fixes Posted

New Throne Of Bhaal and New/Updated Shadows Of Amn Fixes:

[*]Illithid control circlet exceedingly long Charm effect duration caused party members they were used on to never be able to rejoin the group (most noticed when restoring vampirized romances)
[*]Cowled Enforcer AI touched up; should no longer attack or cast offensive spells on each other
[*]Brother Odren (Watcher's Keep) would give the 'No Valid Replies Or Links' errors if certain party members were present, Demogorgon was slain and the ritual unread
[*]Yakman (Watcher's Keep) also gave 'No valid replies or links' on the second dialog if certain party members were present
[*]IDS files for scripting were never updated in Script Compiler folder since Shadows Of Amn; this caused problems if Throne Of Bhaal scripts were decompiled and recompiled
[*]MAGE_ALL and LONG_BOW class reference duplication in decompiled scripts
[*]Raise Dead prices at temples had several errors and reversals (price is level-dependent)
[*]Restored the unique AI script for Mordenkainen's Swords that prevented them from going hostile if attacked as this reference was not included in the previous fix
[*]Triple-class mages (F/M/T's and F/M/C's) though restricted from mage HLA's due to not being able to cast 9th level spells within the XP cap could never earn extra 6th,7th, and 8th level spells though 9th level casting is not required for them
[*]Tears Of Bhaal stat. bonuses as "red number" magical effects caused problems with devices that add to those stats.
[*]Quest reward for Gromnir Il Khan's death could be in the tens of millions of XP rather than 30,000 if the protagonist was level 38 or higher
[*]Inconsistencies and bugs with the Planetar and Fallen Planetar summons; the Planetar's class was undefined which forced its level to 0, so its Dispel Magic never worked, the Fallen Planetar had no Dispel Magic as Remove Curse was duplicated, and a few other inconsistencies
[*]If Anomen completed his knighthood test and Shadows Of Amn was completed without him in the group, when summoned at the Abyssal subplane his title and its bonuses were gone
[*]Anomen's wisdom bonus from his title was "red numbered" as a magical effect which prevented anything from changing it
[*]Deck Of Many Things Emperor spell's "mind shield" Charm protection expired after 0 seconds and its resource was duplicated
[*]Deck Of Many Things Moon spell's ten permanent hit point bonus would result in "Spell Ineffective" if the target was wearing the Cloak Of Mirroring


Imported Unmodified Shadows Of Amn Fixes

[*]If Lady Elgea is freed on the second dialog or by Mazzy or Keldorn, Welther would continuously respawn outside the Copper Coronet
[*]Mordenkainen's Sword could be cast without breaking invisibility
[*]Holy Smite's blindness from a 6th or 7th level caster was permanent, including for evil-aligned party members struck by it
[*]Exploit of repeatedly speaking to Ellie the Festhall cook in Brynnlaw after the "potion plot" had started for unlimited quest experience
[*]Exploit of repeatedly speaking to the Underdark Illithid lair slave leader on quest completion for unlimited quest experience and reputation increases
[*]Exploit of repeatedly speaking to Khollynnus Paac, the mage who sends home the Solamnic Knights of the Planar Sphere, for unlimited quest experience and Golden Girdles

Great stuff Kev.

You mention fixes to several summons. How many of those fixes will interfere with 3rd party AI improvements for those summons?

I am having a lot of fun with latest fix pack, cause its more challenging, thus fun, getting cheesy effects to wrok with the fix pack on!! All the spells not suppose to stack no longer stack, so a lot of squinty hacks don't work. this is great for my ability as a cheese mage, cause I have to work harder to get the same effects!!!

Quitch: None should unless the summon AI is given a different script name (which there's no need for, just rewrite the existing one.) They only change the .CRE files.

Musashi: I hadn't either, but when I did, I was able to easily recreate it (and resolve it.) The person who noted it was soloing a thief, so he was level 39 by then, even that early in the game.

How did u recreate it, i'm interested, i already have installed your fix patch already so its useless but i'm still wondeirng how they would do that
