What is better? I want to plan for gear. There is no possibity I hit 100 strike bug because I don't train dex higher than 50....

So if I choose between,

Strike
Parry
Armor

What is better?

I'd choose Parry over Strike. You won't miss much against any target but with a higher parry they'll hit you less often which means they'll interrupt your attack less often. I actually make the gear choices based on neither of the three....

For example, given the choice of Imperial Armor, Samurai Do or Studded Leather Pro Magic, I'll take the Studded Pro Magic.

I'll take the Thief's Belt over just about any other option until I get to the point that I am completing a matched set, then I go for aesthetics.

Helm of Lords is my favorite heavy helm not because of the strike bonus but because of the Pro Petrify. If I don't have heavy armor, I go for the Kasa of Speed or the Wizard/Warlock hats.

Note, other than the Helm of Lords, all of these are lower armor value than other choices available.

On a funny note, my Urgoth I'm playing right now is wearing the Imperial Chest with the Helm of Lords, Gold Plate shoulders, Plate legs, boots and gloves, a Thief's belt and the spirit shield. He looks a complete fool. Why am I still wearing the Imperial Chest? Well, the first time in Fargrove I bailed Derlinger out but did not enter the slums. This being my first Urgoth I got stuck in the tower in Lake Lohr so I did the multiplayer trick. I didn't have any athletics at the time and couldn't figure out how to get over the wall so I reversed the multiplayer trick to get back down (and overwrote my saves in the process). Bad idea because I ended up not getting ordained favor and had to go the long way anyway. This was a frustrating experience because I was only level 7 or 8 at the time and the critters to the north are a little tough at that level. By the time I got back to Fargrove I had forgotten the password for the slums and couldn't get the studded pro magic from the slums and so far in this playthrough I still have not found a plate chest. :) However I do have a Deathlord chest in my inventory waiting for enough exp to get HA 12 so I can wear it without penalty.

Cool, thanks.

I wonder if the black plate with +5 strike/parry both is better than the demon lord plate? I have to wonder why 12 armor doesn't have much of an elite option unless armor is so much better?

Well, I've only got two or three guys in my stable that wear heavy armor. One was actually a deathlord so I went for the DL set based on that and I haven't payed much attention to the black plate. Given that stat boost I would choose black. I've had several guys wearing full mythnir and for my playstyle that has been enough armor.

Update on this, Just finished the game with my Urgoth. Ended at Lvl 29, armor choices were all deathlord plus black chest armor, helm of lords, dragon shield. Trinket/Rings were mostly speed and damage options. Armor value ended at 90, parry was 39 + 15 trained ranks, strike value was 72. This was a 98% melee character. Pretty much melee'd everything including the final boss. Of course, still blasted bees, bats and fish with poison clouds and lightning but I didn't cast a single whirlwind and only cast nova spells against mushmen. I didn't train arcane or nether at all. Never felt a lack of armor. The only lack I felt was protection against spells, I think my pro magic ended at 20% so the gazers were a little more difficult for me than with other characters I've played. I'd have traded armor for pro magic.
