Actually, wait. They've uncovered some bugs with 1.8. To be expected, really. It's huge. I'm going to check up on them in a month.

What the great gameplay from before wasn't enough for the forced replay? lol Anyway, I know I'm in the minority...

This is some pretty sweet news, I'll give it a try when I get the new boxset collection.

Great gameplay is pushing it a bit. TSL was buggy as hell.

The only thing i really felt needed adjustment about this game was the endings and minor glitch fixes. Not a huge modder as far as customization goes...pretty much the only Mods or adjustments i use for older games are widescreen options and maybe graphic enhancements.

The gameplay, on its own, was great. But after having played it 4 or 5 times, it's not on the top of my list to replay.

Yeah not too sure if i would call it an "Elite" amongst single player RPGs..Star wars fans rate it a little higher then most. KOTOR 1 was much better. However i try to negate graphics on my judging of games because i prefer replay value over graphics but as you said after 4-5 times it got old.

Actually, I found KotOR I not as good as II. The sequel offers so much more. Still, I played both of them several times.

What did you find it offered more of?

More choice in character progression and gear. Better sidequests. Better companion interaction. (If it wasn't bugged. ;) )

Definitly more character customization...I was disappointed in the gear though specifically robes...it had like 10 less robe choices, but i guess thats one thing out of several. Yeah the cross character interaction was much more in-depth and had tons of side quests.

Less robes? I recall more different models of robes in II, and with the expanded "crafting"component, you had more choice in which ones suited you.

I meant that with several robes having open slots, so to speak, you can pretty much choose the model of robe you like, and give it the stats your character needs.

There're the two armour that allow Force Powers to be sued, which look very much like robes, there's the Matukai Master Robe, I think, and some others. Check the GB Database?
