welp...now that i'm killing civilians i thought i would try and remove the Shadow Thieves from Amn...now when you start slaughtering anyone in the thieves guild a mysterious man appears...Sumthing Grax is his name, i think. Now this guy, I have never seen anywhere else in the game and let me say he is easily the most bad mofo I've seen...I simply can't kill him and he is the meanest backstabber you ever seen...killing everything in the room in a mere 3-5 seconds...I have tried everything i can think of cept imprisonment spell/scroll and he will not go down...Time stop scroll with my main character then turning into Slayer will not drop him and he kills Slayer in one hit Kangaxx the lich is way wimpy compaired to this guy and Irenicus or all the dragons put together pale in compairision to this stranger....or so it appears. So whats the deal, protection from normal weapons?

He is their to stop you muffins munin' up the plot put drain his stats and he's dead

He's just there so you don't get stuck in the game. You need the Shadow Thieves. As craig said, the only way to kill him is by draining his stats. Haer'Dalis has a sword that drains wisdom (I think), and I believe there's also a stat draining weapon that is sold by one of the bonus merchants.

welp...i figured he was there to stop me from messing up the story...but i have finished SoA and just for fun was wundering what sorta loot i might get from the guild...I also slayed Cromwell altho that was not exciting and revealed no good equiptment...it's cool they put these things in there to stop peeps from messing with the story but what if i want to play a chaotic evil character that lays a path of destruction everywhere...they put sum evil equiptment in the game but i think by far the game is orientated torwards good characters...

on a diffrent note...why do drizzt & co. have such weak equiptment....i mean its nice stuff but wulfgars hammer is supposed to return and where is drizzt's figurine? not to mention if you have read the books...frostband is alot more powerful than in the game...all their stuff is way more powerful in the books....
