Hey guys
I have not posted to a baldur's gate forum since the original came out .
I am experimenting right nowwith a Elven Kensai/thief multiclass, yes I know you can not do that in the game without help.
anyway the experiment is to see how many protections I can have from equipment.
Here is the list of what Le Fay is wearing now
Helm of the rock
Gloves of missle snaring
Rune Hammer +5
Aslyferund Even chain +5
Shield of harmont +2
ring of gaxx / ring of protevtion +3
cloak of mirroring
Gnomish boots
belt of inertial barrier
sensate amulaye
its just me playing around to see just how many protections could be stacked on one character.
looking forward to here your opinions and maybe other gear that is better than what I have listed.
Thanks.

what you want as a fighter/thief is Jans armor, Defender of Easthaven, and Hardiness. For 85% damage reduction.

I think he means the "Jansen Adventure Wear" (or w/e it's called) that Jan Jansen, the gnome you find in the governement district, wears. It has 25% resist to all physical damage, though I don't think anyone but Jan himself can wear it unless you "cheat".

Hah, that's indeed hilarious!
His portrait didn't change for me, though. :O
Well, there is nothing you can do but wait really, it will take ~20 days until you are approached by a feller looking for Edwin. Until then, you can either just kick back and enjoy the show, enjoying the humorous comments by your other party members, or, if you don't want to have Edwin in your party (for example if you are playing a good-aligned party) you can just subsequently dump him somewhere... I did the latter because keeping him around would've caused him to leave the group as my reputation went up anyway; so I left him in the copper coronet to be mocked and ridiculed. A fitting end for that egocentric oaf, I would think.
Ofcourse, if you'd rather have him in the party, the only thing you can do is wait, really.

That's the guy, but you did the right thing. If my information is correct, then this guy will return, again, and cast a spell on Edwin that transforms him back - mind that I never got that far, myself, though. By not covering for Edwin you would have made him angry and he would've attacked you, instead.
