Clerics rings and anomen
Clerics rings and anomen
You know, I just realized that you get a ring of X god depending on your alignment. What doesn't make sense however, is that anomen is a priest of helm, and yet recieves a symbol of Lathander. You think they would have changed this to make it more realistic and given the whiny ***** his ring that was correct. And worst part his, for all his arrogance I didn't get a single bit of dialogue. You think he'd be all high and mighty and go showing it off.
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.

Good points I have to agrea, perhaps the symbol was added in as an afterthought.. however the special powers are never mentioned in diologue at all are they...
When logic and proportion,
Have fallen sloppy dead,
And the White Knight is talking backwards,
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the doormouse said.

Actually, when you completed the quest in SOA where Anomen turns into a knight, his alignmnet is changed to Lawful Good. Suposedly, he would then be answering to the Morninglord. However, this is inconsistent with the fact he keeps on whinnig about Helm guiding his path. It would be the same thing with Viconia. She is a Shar chick and still gets the Symbol of Talos.Originally posted by Knight Errant:

God damn it! In my game, Ano didn't receive a symbol! I was wondering why, but I thought that it's for the main char only. Guess it was a bug, or he had his inventory full or something...
Centuries ago in England........It was an era of chivalry and magic. The evil Prince John unleashed an iron fist of tyranny upon the people. They called out for a champion.........one man answered that call. His name, was Robin Hood. Fearless in his quest for justice Robin Hood challenged the power of the high warlords. While protecting the helpless and the poor. Willing to face death for what he believed, along with the beautiful, lady warrior, Jaheira, the mighty Minsc, and the wise Keldorn. Robin Hood forged a legend that lives on today in............
LOL. Imprison him, hehe, that would scare the hell out of the arrogant bugger. Wonder if youd get any dialogue out of that. Imagine being trapped alone by yourself for ever. You think Yakman was crazy, wait and see what Anomen would be like after 15-20 years. Mwahahhahaha/

Nah, already finished that game...though he is in my present party, too. He is one of my favorite chars, by the way. I guess I'm one of the few who actually like him As I've said before, he is just what a young knight should be. Vigilant, valiant and honourable. And a bit arrogant, as he should be. He is a noble, after all.

To be truthful, I actually do like anomen, just find his preachiness a bit much actually. And he whines a lot. But he is a good character to have. And a good cleric (extra 2 wisdom really isnt that important) Plus he doesnt need a girdle of strength to be a decent fighter
