Find familiar shouldn't be a Conjuring/Summoning spell

According to the manual Tome and Blood, a familiar isn't conjured. Instead, the wizard needs to *find* it (which goes well with the name Find Familiar). In a city, shops are the recommended place to look for them.
So, how stupid isn't it that a Diviner can't have a familiar while a Conjurer can? Should anyone be able to find a familiar, it certainly would be the Diviner, considering divining the locations of creatures is part of his specialiation.

Yes, that is pretty dumb i must admit. But, if you really want a familiar, use the potion scroll trick

It should be a Conjuration/Divination so both schools can use it. I believe there are a few other spells in the game that can be used by by two opposition schools, too. I think Stoneskin is one.

The best solution IMO would be if it wasn't a spell at all. Why not a Wizard's Shop with a nice selection of suitable familiars? And no restriction as to alignement either.
