ok, i managed to waste his forces and i was left with 2 chars (out of my original 6) and i was almost dead, and i was attacking him and his status was almost dead (or whatever ^-^ )and i kept whacking at him, and he wasn't dying. i even did ctrl+y on his ass. that didn't work. finally i clua-d in killsw01, and even that didn't work. i was hitting him for 500 damage each time and nothing was working. is there something wrong here? i killed all his little drakes and other minions so...HELP!

There's a bug in the game where sometimes a character won't die if you're doing too much damage (Trolls are an excellent example of this, sometimes they won't hit the ground while you're hitting them).

My advice would be to try bashing him for a few rounds, then withdraw and see if he dies (he has to dialogue after all), and then if then if he's still standing, rush in and bash him again.

Having beaten the fight myself, I can tell you the additions do not stop him dying.
