Watchers keep mission impossible

Post by genius1571 »

You know at level 5, those 6 monsters... When I turn the key, they sometimes don't appear and my game gets stuck. Is it a bug? Any patch to fix it?
Anyway, my real question is: any tactics to defeat them? It has probably been discussed before, but I'm too lazy to dig them out.

Another question, to pull out the purifier, do i have to have a lawful good pc/npc? coz I dont have one now.
Thx

To pull out purifier, you need just a good pc or npc, I think.

As for the final guardians, there are plenty of ways to defea them. I suggest doing a search of previous topics.

One good tricks is to lay traps at the base and whack at least on of them as they come in.

If you cant beat them, you only need one person to run through the portal they guard. Turn the key twice, then send a fast runner through.

One way to handle them is to move your hole party into the room to the upper left of the portal, then turn the key and quickly run back to y our party , only 2-3 of the baddies will follow you in. After defeating the 2-3 you head back out and polish off the rest.

Dont need fancy tactics. Just blast them with 2-3 D. Breath and that's it.

Please don't write things what you haven't tested. These demons are not only magic resistant, but half of them has tough (or total) elemental resistances.

They are very tough. I agree with the previous opinon: it is better to fight only half of them at once. What kind of party do you have?

I didn't find them to hard when soloing a f/m/t! Put down some timetrapt, and have you're mages remember timestop. And in the timestop use greaterwhirlwind to cause massive damage!
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

As for your first question, I encountered it in Bioware's "known issues" page. I think you have to change your display settings a lot lower just for the process. It's some OpenGL compability thing.
