Setting trap limit

I have just upgraded to TOB and have found that there is now a very small limit to the number of snares that I can lay.

I have myself as a Bounnty hunter and Yoshimo as well, so between the two of us, up to 8 snares can be laid but now that I have installed TOB, it won't let me lay anymore than 5 in a map until those laid are used.

When I get myself and Yoshimo up to a decent level, I will have 8 and so will Yoshimo, so that will be 16 available but I will be only able to use 5.

Is there any way around this?

Thanks

No, but you won't need one either.

See, once you hit 3 million, the next level up gives you "special abilities". The first one to get is Use Any Item (does what it says) but after that you can get things like "spike traps"...which do, say 20d6 damage per trap. So you shouldn't need that many.

Actually, if you're a bounty hunter, you're in tough luck. The supertrap abilities make your class virtually useless, especially since they always succeed. The same holds true for the Skald, whose song abilities can now be taught to any bard.

Perhaps you could use Vhailor's helm and have your simulacrum lay traps, perhaps this is a workaround just like clones summoning more than five monsters. I haven't tested it myself, just a thought.
