The extraordinary gauntlets are supposed to give half an exxtra attack/round but do not.
I have tried dualwielding as well as using shield and weapon.

Anyone know where to find a patch?

Don't forget that there is a cap to your number of attacks, if the number is at 4, then except for Whirlwind and Greater Whirlwind, you can't go higher, no matter if you do have items that are supposed to add attacks (Like Belm +2).

The cap is 5 if you are not hasted and ten with improved haste or whirlwinds.

Ok, but i had 3 attacks with one weapon, wth and without gauntlets.. and 4 dualwielding.. none worked..

Well your problem is probably that you are wearing the boots of speed. A fighter gets 2½ attacks with a two-handed weapon. The gauntlets make that 3 but so does the boots of speed. Boots of speed only raises ½ attacks they wont make 2 attacks 2½ attacks but the gauntlets will. Therefore you should not combine boots of speed with the gauntlets on a fighter. On a thief or a bard however they will add 1 attack combined with the boots of speed. Or on an archer.

Ok, but it still sounds as a bug, since it doesnt say it wont work with the boots. And everyone uses the boots in BG2 ToB.
