Hi! I workin about italian' s translation of the game. I've problem with dialog that appair in upper left corner of the screen when a character speak. Someone know the name of this files? Or the pack or directory i can find

I can't help you directly, but I know of a tool that can help you find occurrences of text in files within multiple directory structures. It's called DocFetcher and is open source / free for use: http://docfetcher.sourceforge.net/en/index.html

Extract all the Vtm:B archives in a directory somewhere. Launch DocFetcher and create an index in the search scope window in the bottom left. Then you specify which file types it can search. Only then can you actually do a search. Write down a few words from one of these english dialogues and it should find the appropriate files for you. Might take a few minutes though.

This tool is very useful if you are dealing with massive amounts of files to sort through and can't or don't want to rely on the Windows Indexing Service (no proper gamer should, IMO). I kinda know what the Vtm:B archive structure is like, so I think it should be useful for you. Unless someone else posts the exact location in the next post of course.

They can be found in vampire/sound/characters/dlg/(hub)/(character name)/(line*.lip)!
