Hey guys, I'm having a problem with a particular NPC issue, maybe somebody could help me out:

Once I followed Bodhi to the graveyard, she killed Viconia and had her half-transformed into a vampire. After defeating Bodhi, I grabbed her heart and Viconia's body. Now, according to the walkthrough, all it takes is for me to take her (and the heart) to the statue of Amaunator in the Shade Lord's temple and she'll come back just like new. However, when I place both items in the statue's hands, there's a moment of flashing light, then Viconia's dead body appears on the ground, and nothing else happens.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug? I've tried reloading from before entering the temple and placing the body first and heart second, then the other way around, and I keep getting the same results.

I had that problem with both Jaheira and Aerie also. Sometimes you might see the body on the ground and they appear alive as well! There might be a bug there. I don't remember that happening after I had Throne of Bhaal and all the patches installed.

Otherwise, I think you have to click on the statue, place your lovers body *only* and then let the statue tell you about a purification ritual first. Then add Bodhi's heart. Or after hearing about the ritual, take the body out and put it back in again with the heart. You may even have to follow the paper trail first - collect all the notes about the ritual - sorry it's a bit vague, but that's as much as I can remember about it. Good luck!
