Greetings, my character is a barbarian that dual wields long swords. But then I realise that dual wielding ony adds 1 extra attack only without any other bounuses (in my view. Tell me fellow players, is dual wielding weapons really worth it? Do give me your views.

Definitely yes...if nothing else, the bonuses you get from your off hand are absolutely insanely overpowered.
axe of unyielding and crom fayer in opposite hands?
black razor and rune hammer?
there are so many combos that give insane bonuses.

Think foebane or some other killer weapon on main hand, and belm +2 to give yourself an extra attack per round. Cast impr. haste.....

there is a post in soa forum about how evil this is. kundane +2 and belm +2 will give you 8 attacks per round with imp haste! At least thats what your info screen tells you. greater whirlwind, anyone?

Personally when my character dual wielded, he went for Angurvadal (22 strength longsword) and Foebane (damn good bastard sword)

nael, I think just putting a weapon in the second hand gives you an extra attack per round. the benefits of that, even if your char has greater whirlwind is impossible to overstate. Unless you have like around 10 of them, sooner or later your char comes off the caffine high, and has to whack away normally.

Is that what greater whirlwind is?
