will the game run better in safe mode? cuz its lagging like hell on my comp

I think it will work better. It has a -3d in it which I actually don't know what means. Probably has something to do with the 3D Accelerator, not that you need one.

Runs like a charm in safe mode, with no obviously noticeable differences... Not sure why the game runs so slow--never had this problem on my system (AMD Athlon 800mhz CPU and ASUS A7V mb, nVidia Geforce2, SB Live, 128 MB RAM).

Except that I get black tiles.
