Hmm

1. I have not tried nearly all the npc's yet but so far - umm probably magnus - no Wait it's gotta be Worthless Mutt - come on he is just to cool.

2. favorite villain. Hmm The Tarantian Industrial council . @#%% Slavers - when my half ogre char found out about half ogre ISle he went on a rampage and killed every Gnome he came across. went from +100 to -100 very quickly, Pitty about their bodyguards though.

3. my favourite character - me of course what sort of question is that

4. I don't believe in gods - what sort of rubish is that for a man of science?

5. again apart from me probably Alberic

6. pre made characters they are a figment of my games imagination I refuse to acept their existence

7. Um. Im not sure what you are asking here

Anyay thats it for me.

The coolest character I have played so far was a gun slinging drunkard human male. He was never sober, when away from towns I made sure to carry enough wine for a good time. Because he was so moody no npc would join him but worthless mutt. His name was "Turkish" and in order to make him realistic like a true Role player should I made sure never to play sober myself. Which worked perfectly especially when I launched an attack on Ust-Natha without any bullets.

There's so much admirable logic in that I may vote for you, even if you don't run for something.

I'm thinking of running for mayor of New York, or is that election over already?

It was already held, but I have no idea who won. If nobody else does, we can try to convince them that you did.

How would you rate Arcanum, next to BG2?

Here, here. Or is that- Hear, hear.

BG2 is just way better than Arcanum, Fable. Actually, I was not expecting it to be like BG2, but more like Fallout 2, since it had the same developer. It sort of lacked the surprising cool NPC's and settings that Fallout had (plus Fallout has to rate at the very top of my list for coolest opening movie and atmosphere)--and there are no romances, nor interesting dialogues between the NPC's you pick up (as in BG2). On the pro side--Arcanum is non-linear--and there's a lot to be said for that, since so few games outside of BG are. Arcanum has some great gadgets and other weird stuff you can put together. What I am looking forward to is Arcanum 2--I think that like Fallout and BG, this game will greatly improve on the second outing. There is a lot of potential to develop more of a clash between magic and technology--I felt that you should definitely have to pick one or the other--this would create the same kind of tension that alignment creates in BG.

Good news! Turkish is reborn in the form of a surly half-ork. Of course since I am such a dedicated role player he is naturally an alchoholic and so am I. I mean when I am playing of course just to give the game that added realism. Some of you pansy wanna-be role players may think my methods are unorthidox but to you I say "where did I put that bottle of Tequila...." I mean "you are a mockery of all that is good and true in the world of RPGs". So anyway I seem to have lost my point, if I had one to begin with which is highly doubtful. GO TURKISH!

EDIT: As an added bonus if any of you can tell me where the name "Turkish" comes from there will be an ice cream waiting!

Let me guess, the movie Snatch.

Now where is my ice cream?

Sheesh. It took three years for someone to answer this?

No, it took three years because the site owner frowns on threads more than a few months' old being resurrected. Tends to push newer threads of interest off the first page.
