hello to all...allow me to introduce myself as Saien McGerney...we'll leave it at that for the time being as i don't know you chaps to well and would rather keep my history in the shadows for a bit (or until i figure it out myself). As a potential guild member, i'd like to post up my class and stats and see what you think. When i say potential, that's what i mean. I'm waiting a bit to see how this all plays out...as the game has yet to even be released. But if i do end up fighting along side of you, watching your backs as you watch mine, I'd like your thoughts before i commit to a certain profession(s) and devote my training to the appropriate needs of that profession(s). Alright, enough small talk. stats as follows:
Half-Elven Fighter/Thief
Strength 14
Dexterity 15
Constituion 13
Intelligence 9
Wisdom 10
Charisma 11

I'm also considering becoming a man of the cloth...dropping the rustic ways of a fighter for those of a cleric/thief. of course, the above stats will need some modifications if this comes to be.

Half-Elven Fighter/Thief
Strength 14
Dexterity 15
Constituion 13
Intelligence 9
Wisdom 10
Charisma 11
This combination will most likely be the "Umber" class. The feats a thief can get combined with the power of a Fighter (plus his feats)
I thought about taking this combination myself..(still might)
As for the stats...(every 4 level you get to add 1 to any of them) I say they look good.

Well, glad i got your approval, but i'm pretty sure i'm gonna go to a Half-Elven Cleric/Thief, especially considering you blokes could use a little bit more prayer in the Divine Wing.
Strength 11
Dexterity 15
Constitution 12
Intelligence 9
Wisdom 14
Charisma 11

I wasn't giving any approval...I was just stating what I thought was the good points about a Fighter/Theif.

I wasn't being sarcastic Weasel...don't let me set a foot wrong so early in the game. I was seriously saying "Thank You for your input." Maybe "approval" was the wrong thing to say...it's cool though man.

I have to be carful nowadays...I'm getting flamed from every angle.
And for my outburst you have my apology.

I'm not up to date on a cleric....but moving one point from Charisma and give it to Intelligence would IMO be better.
I will have to check ..but don't you still get a - at 9

If yuor still looking, we could use some more help over in the Fighters wing. But whatever you choose is fine.
@Weasel: Don't worry man, we know your having a tough time, and we'll help as much as we can.

What's the importance of intelligence to Clerics? i really have no idea as to the difference with the new set of D&D rules <hangs head in shame>.
Aegis, i know some members haven't been posted on the guild site, but aren't you in much greater need of the divine than fighters at the moment? I don't know, give me some info on what's going on.

Pleased to meet you!

The divine wing would welcome the addition of a cleric/thief such as your self. Most of the others won't admit it, but we could use a good thief for sneakin' around and for pickin' the odd locks that the Tormites can't break with their teeth.

Yes, Aegis, i now see that you are in need of more sword arms, but i feel my devotion to faith calls me into the Divine brotherhood. I sincerely hope that recruitment picks up, however, as we clerics shall need you fighters to hold the enemy off. Best of luck, and i hope to fight beside you soon.

Bah... Faith gets you no where!

Just don't ask me to heal that big melted hole in your chest when the time comes round. I might very well be denied if i pray on your behalf.

Seriously, though, faith might very well be our salvation in the days to come. No pun intended of course. If you wish to discuss the matter further, i'll be worshipping over in the tavern with me goblet of ale in my hand and a pretty young lass on my knee.

No no, good man! You take our brothers words the wrong way...he was merely referring to...well, um...he was complimenting the boldness and iron will of the Tormites. Yes, that's it! See, no reason for hostilities or such to arise. Just a compliment among fellow priests.
