What is this quest even about?

I mean, i have finished the quest about unlocking "dode-whatever" as well as i have found out the legacy of Deinora in the sensorium stone, shared it with Ian, also acquired permission for Ian to visit the private sensorium to look for his daughters memory..

But what does this have to do with Foundry?

Wasn't the receipt part of the dodecahedron?

I have got that receipt from Ian. I am supposed to take it to foundry, but to whom? Is this receipt just a pass to open the foundry doors or is it to make or claim some item in the foundry?

No one wants to talk to me in the foundry, all are very rude.

There's a specific NPC in the foundry who turns out receipts.

I had to kill him and all the foundry men. Thing is i don't know what happened that everyone turned hostile on me. Never intended, but the stupid quest still remains even though i have returned from Carceri...

The truth is that you're not supposed to kill people there. Torment rewards players with an open mind, who will always try to talk even if they end up having to kill.
I suppose they didn't bother removing the quest if you kill the NPC, since it's not supposed to happen.
