Hi,

I am using windows 7 64 bit. I don't have problem installing and playing DS1 and DSLOA.

First I installed Yesterhaven multiplayer version and then ...

I have followed the modder instruction's of
1. creating the YesterhavenSP.dsmap and copying it to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege\Yesterhaven .

2. placing the YesterSP.dsres file in your C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege\Resources.

However, after all of this I keep getting

error screen that says
A fatal error has occurred and the app must shut down.Unable to open file '<filename not found>' (mesh guid: 0xbeef5892)Check your nodes_misc.gas file for a typo. Cannot continue, the program will now exit.

Solution provided was ... but does not work
You probably overwrote some important Yesterhaven files. You should uninstall Yesterhaven by browsing to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege\Yesterhaven\Install Files directory and selecting 'Dungeon Siege Yesterhaven Uninstall'. Follow the instructions on the screen. After the process is completed, reinstall Yesterhaven and start over.

Here is Yestehaven mod

Original file for multiplayer

If you are able to successfully installed it an run it on windows 7 64bit ... please provide me the detail instructions. Thanks.

oK I finally figured it out. The original instruction was ...

Recompiling the files into a new .dsmap file ('Filling the Tank')
1.) Open TankCreator by double clicking on TankCreator.exe.
2.) Click on the '...' button next to the 'Source' box. Browse to the C:\Editing\YesterhavenSP folder; this will set the program to look in this folder for the files to compile. Click ok.
3.) Setting the 'Output' box
• In the 'Output' box, type the following as the output file: C:\Editing\YesterhavenSP.dsmap

However, the output file was named automatically as YesterhavenSP.dsmap.dsres. So I renamed YesterhavenSP.dsmap.dsres back to YesterhavenSP.dsmap and put that file in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege\Yesterhaven directory as per the instruction.

It turn out that I should not rename it and just put YesterhavenSP.dsmap.dsres to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege\Yesterhaven directory. Then clicking the Dungeon Siege Yesterhaven icon instead of Dungeon Siege icon.
