Welcome to the new improved database-driven GameBanshee Forums =). These new forums should be a lot better than our old ones as far as speed and performance go, but I'd like to hear what all of you think of their functionality, so please post your comments and complaints below.

I thought I just mentioned how I liked the changes and, poof, it's changed again.

wow, this is quite an overhaul. I never had too many problems with speed in the past so I can't rightfully comment on that.

The changes seem to have stripped the GB forum of its' originality. It has the appearance of many other forums out there. OMG, you sold your soul!!!! No wait, you've already done that.

anyway, the changes are good. I certainly don't think you'll lose anybody over the changes. We've all sold our souls to you.

My only request would be to get the old smilies back. The color of them add more personality. And the eek doesn't appear to bug out.

Well - I'd just have to get use to it, but generally I like the new look - and I've not really have had problems with speed on the old ones, so if it's faster, I can't comment on

Wow!! this will take some getting used to.

A couple of things I have noticed, the first is that at least a couple of member names have changed...no doubt these members will be in touch about this another is the smilies...hmmm...

btw, has the rating system gone now? and last question is about PMs...where we originally replied to each PM, why do we suddenly have all responses to one single PM, as seperate PMs? with no view of what we have said ourselves...that doesn't make sense

Ok. someone sends me a PM, I respond, they respond back. What I have in my inbox is two seperate PMs from this person (with no sight of my response - therefore no reference) resulting from the one original...is that still senseless? Does this PM separation only apply to PMs originally in my in-box, or will all PMs become separated?

Looks cool, but I think I'm being shown as Tomoe Hotaru instead of Sailor Saturn now... I noticed some others who's usernames don't look quite the same either, I think.

Looks good Buck. I did not have too much problems with speed on the old format though.

Like Ned said Gamebanshee has lost its uniqueness. I liked the alternating background color for posts.
Also now it seems like any other board i've seen.
Avatars i really don't like. Eventually you'll have 2 million people with some demon avatar or something.
Actually this looks exactly like civfanatics.com. The whole layout, everything.

Yeah, it doesn't look like Eek The old smileys were better. The board is fine, a bit technical and confusing at times, but it can be okay.

I wonder what my Username reads as...

Oh, might I add that you can see the SPD rate in someone's profile! That's cool!

One more thing... I also like the fact that now I see the UBB in EDT, instead of Central. It's a little bit easier.

The only problem I seem to have is my Private Message seems to be not working.

I think it is excellent that when you pull up a forum you can now see who posted most recently in each thread. Previously, we could only see who started each thread.

Please fix the names sooner rather than later

Suddenly, my Log-in name is used instead of my Screen Name. This makes me very angry. I thought I could trust you, Buck, with a name that I only give out to good friends. I feel betrayed. If you or the moderators have any control over this, they should intervene NOW!

I have the same questions as some others: ratings? why the name changes? Where did our profile pictures go?

I don't mind the change - whatever makes things easier for you (Buck) is the best for the Forum.

I do like the color thing!

I cannot access my pms.....I tried the aforementioned trick of pretending to send myself a message....this allows me to access my profile...but I still get the following message when I click on the pm link:
