BGConfig issues, need prebaked config files.

I could really use some help. I'm stuck behind an old laptop and I recently had to put Linux on it because Windows Vista got all broken and stupid. I can't play much on it due to a few hardware limitations, but I know the Baldur's Gate series work fine. Well, I can't configure any graphics settings, which is where I need someone's help

BGConfig doesn't want to store it's settings properly. Testing the graphics settings crashes BGConfig, so it won't ever accept anything I change (it forces you to do a graphics test, or it won't save anything). I'm running it through Wine, which is in all likelihood the culprit. However, since I do not have the luxury of running it outside of Wine, I was hoping if I someone could get me some prebaked config files? Just configure your installation as I need it, then archive the files so I can download it from some place (email is fine, I'll send a PM),

Generally I need all settings maxed, but I'll quickly go over the important stuff anyway. Difficulty: Core Rules. Then I need all graphics settings maxed. Use 3D hardware acceleration. All three sliders to Maximum PC (600 Mhz). Footstep sounds & attack sounds ON. Critical hit screen shake ON. Translucent shadows ON. All 'learn spell' info ON. Enable brightening, high & mid level. Gamespy disabled, of course. No automatic speed adjustment. Unsupported resolution: 1280x960! Fullscreen, 32 bit. 3D animations ON, 3d acceleration On.

I'm not exactly sure which files are involved. I'm sorry. I'm guessing at least all the .ini files.

Alright, my issue was resolved on the Pocket Plane Group forums. If anyone Googlin' ever comes across this thread, the solution can be found here: http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php ... 448.0.html

TL;DR: Everything can be set by manually editing baldur.ini.
