How do I get an avatar?....
I can't access the list for some reason, and I don't have the capability to do a custom one....
Any clues would be helpful, thanks

First, you need to do a Ixithian Fire ritual to the appropriate god or goddess of your choice, dressing in bearskin. Then...
Sorry, couldn't resist.
My first instinct would be to have someone send you one that you could use. They have to be 50x50 pixels in size, according to the error messages I kept getting...

@Der-draigen, try
http://mysmilies.com/ for some possible avatars. Then go the area where you can edit your profile, and add the avatar address in the appropriate box. That should work.

Did you sacrifice two doves with a ritual knife to Bill Gates at midnight? And was it done at a crossroads where a person who didn't like LOTR was hanged?

@Fable: *sigh* It was five minutes to midnight, I didn't think it would matter all THAT much

You didn't think, you didn't think...! That's what all my apprentices say. And you know what happened to the last one who was off by a few minutes? He was discovered in small pieces scattered all over the surrounding countryside, the next day. And his predeccessor turned into a Republican!
Let that be a lesson to you. And be more careful, next time.

@Fable: it is fine to put the fear of God into neophyte apprentices, but scaring them out of their wits by mentioning Republicians is crossing the line...
@Der-draigen: Don't pay any attention to that man behind the curtain.

I used a portrait that I originally downloaded for BG2. I had to crop it and change the format though.

I would use the one I used in BG2, but I seem to have misplaced it, along with all of my fiels towards the game...

Ah, but they react with such fear, horror and trepidation when that's mentioned! ...And then, too, I've got a deal with a local launderer to split the fees when my apprentices come in with stained robes, as a result. It's commercially viable! THAT MEANS IT'S EVIL!!

I did something similar, though mine is a pic I had been attempting to edit to fit into IWD. It was too horizontally rectangular for IWD, though, but it didn't take much to get it fit into here. It's actually a screenshot of me from the scenes shown during the opening theme for Sailor Moon SuperS.

There is another alternate ritual :
Sacrifice
Bill Gates heart, brain, and glasses to The Mighty Red Hat, Penguin and Chameleon. It must be done in front of a Gigantic Apple precisely at noon

Humans, bah! You believe anything you read, as long as each word is no longer than three letters! That isn't Bill Gates' heart, but a simulation created by the noted Scottish wizard, Angus MacMac. A Mac simulation may look right, but it's not the real thing. And it can't be: for Gates long ago sold his heart to the dread Cthlwyyntljwwpkkmnyhth, the Demon Whose Name Cannot be Pronounced, of Welsh origins, and it has long since been used as a cactus planter.
Phhht. Let's have no more obfuscations from you lot. Back to work! I want to see that potion of invisibility before nightfall, and if you try to palm off a non-existing object on me like you did last time, I'll turn you both into N'Sync roadies. NO MORE DELAYS! GET TO WORK!
