dragon bones and scale/poss spoiler/

is there any real use for dragon bone and scales other than just selling them for money? I would hate to sell them off only to find out I need them down the road.

You can use them in Smithing, if you take the skill to 100.

I'll add something about smithing. I had moderate alchemy and high enchant. I made smithing and enchanting potions and with enchant I made a alchemy and smithing suit.
With all that buffing my smithing I was able to max out the armor value using only ebony smithing. So that saves some smtihing skill points.
When I finally had my battle suit my health was so high that hard things could hardly hurt me. And my stamina was so high that I could run all the way from the Whiterun gate to the castle (or whatever).
