Jaheira, alternate sound file??

After looking through Bioware's forum, somone mentioned if you change Jaheira's Alignment to Neutral good, she changes her reputation responce. I changed it via Shadowkeeper and sure enough it was there.
The question:
Was this alignment change supposed to be a result of her missgivings about being a harper/druid while romancing the main character and was just never implemented?
I certainly agree with a lot of people that she is more good than nuetral.
From now on I plan to change her alignment to reflect her character better, and along with the buried sound file I get the bonus of hearing this as well.
Side note, I'm sure most of you may know this, but a few new things I learned of the game in the past few days,
Leaving your people standing and the game not puased causes them to complain about being bored/standing around/need to do something useful with this time etc.. But if you have a fighter type and set him/her to guard, they don't complain at all. They only say random comments about rep or location.
Also, coming out of the Underdark if you have Viconia in your party and she's invisible, Ethan(I think that's the name) won't see her and the geas is never cast. surprised me

No, Jaheira is not suppose to change alignment during the game, the responses that NPC have towards rep is reflected by what alignment they are and the party's current rep and they have a different responce for each of the stats they are in: happy, neutral, annoyed and angry.
If they are evil, they'll be happy with rep < 7; neutral at rep between 7 and 12; annoyed at rep between 13 and 15; angry at rep between 16 and 18; and will leave the party at rep > 18.
Neutral NPCs, neutral with rep between 6 and 18; annoyed at rep > 18 and 4 and 5; angry at rep 2 and 3; and will leave at rep 1.
Good NPCs, happy at rep > 12; neutral at rep between 9 and 12; annoyed at rep between 6 and 8; angry at rep between 3 and 5; and will leave at rep < 3.

hey Sabre, been awhile. I understand how the reaction to reputation because of alignment works. What I was wondering is why have this sound file of Jaheira that is activated if her alignment is changed to Neutral good and your rep gets >12?
I've read a few topics about what Jaheira's true alignment should be based on her character's interactions with the main PC and the other NPC's. She shouldn't be true nuetral IMO is there any point in the game where Jaheira allows an evil act to go unpunished for the greater balance?

Seemed resonable to me that since Viconia has an anlignment change at one point, if you decide to go that way, and the sound file was there that maybe they toyed with the idea but decided against it and just left the file buried never to be used.
Just a thought, probable wrong...but its a cool extra

Interesting point, I'll look into it and see if there was something I missed - although a lot of things were left out of the game, so this could just be another one that was thought of but never finished.

It only the sounds, no dialogue change. Her sound set have a Happy sound file - but since Neutral characters are never happy with any party rep value, you don't get to hear it. When you change her alignment to Good, she's happy with rep higher than 12, so you can hear her happy reaction. It's just something you hear the character say - like when you give them a command or select them, you get their response; same with battle cries, and critical hit/miss etc.

Interesting, I changed Viconia's alignment to Neutral Good and had >12 rep, she starts with the "I find this a satisfactory arrangment" line you usually get when you rep is really low.
Still Jaheira is unique since True Neutral isn't supposed to have a happy rep sound.

I can relate, I have never completed the game with either of the following
Mazzy
Vaylgar
Korgan
Anomen
Jan
Keldorn
Haer Dalis
Edwin
Cerd
In fact I have never had them in the group when I went took the boat the the asylum.
99% of the time my group is the following
Me
Jaheira(because she went trhough BG1 with me)
Minsce (Not sure why I always have him)
Aerie (don't have the heart to leave her behind)
Viconia (she keeps things interesting and Aerial servant)
Imoen (have to keep her)
Yoshimo (only for exp later on)
I'll use the others for the side quests but then drop them in favor of the others.
I feel wierd without any of the core 5 above in my group...strange
