I'm looking for a mod which leaves my character's legs bare. Does it exist? Can you please point me to it? Please note that I do not need a metal bikini mod. (I despise them.)

There are a tonne of Armor mods on Skryrim nexus, but you could try:

Ancient Nord Armor and Saviors Hide CBBEv3 Echo

Well, I should have added that I like the armour progression, so preferably not one specific suit.
