Has anyone ever tried to take out Renal Bloodscalp and his
crew? I have tried this several times, just for fun, but I keep getting my main guy killed. I took my thief and laid traps ALL over the place. Used lots of protection spells and monster summoning.
I even managed to kill Renal and almost all his cronies but as soon as I try and move from the place I was, this assasin comes out of nowhere and kills me. I mean I have NO chance at all to
defend myself, I am DEAD and I mean right now!!
Has anybody tried this and succeded???? Cause I would like to know how you did it.

I tried and i don't think you can kill Arkanis Gath . First of all , he pops up near your main character ending the game with one hit .

Once , i managed to runaway from him . It was at the main entrance of the Shadow Thieves building where you can close the door climb those thin stairs to a place like sniper nest . He targeted me and did not attack any other party members . Since he could'nt reach me and kill me , my mage and party members enjoyed wacking him . Unfourtunately he did'nt fall . I gave up after doing like 1000 hp damage .

Killing Renal is easy .. The hard part is getting away with it .. Thanks to Arkanis .. Protector of the Plot ..

As you can imagine someone has taken it as a personal affront that any in game character can not be killed. Consequently someone has worked out a way of killing them all.

Arkanis Gath can be killed by reducing his intelligence to zero while shapechanged into a mind flayer. Just how you achieve this is left as an exercise for the reader. - Curdis !

@Curdis, you astound me. What sort of experience do you receive when you commit this renowned feat?

easiest way to do this is use fighter mage, load up on 4 project images, and shapeshift spell, load up chain contingency with 3 project images, cast on condition helpless, then cast project image when he is about to come into visual range. each image casts shapeshift, mind flayer and tehn use greater whirlwind to attack via meelele. shape shifted images can attack meelee, and with this trick you quadruple your chances of a sucessful brain drain....

I originally came up with this noticiing how lousy my sorcs thaco is, this trick originally was designed for pure mages, since they have sucky thaco. but four images will substancially improve chances of making aquick brain drain, and still keeps your mages safe.

Just making sure you know that if you side with bhodi you get to kill all the shadow theives anyway.

I have never done it - many moons ago there was a kind of competition to see if it was possible to kill everything, and I do mean everything -

I believe the Sewer Golem in Irenicus's dungeon was one of the last to be achieved. Whether the program gives any exps I don't know, and even if it does some of these 'feats' mean you just broke the game so......
