Bit of an unusual fault/bug/user stupidity this; but I'm hoping somebody can help.

So I just installed BGII on a new windows 8 machine and it works fine, sort off. Until I start moving the cursor, then it enters rest mode. I don't click anything, don't double tap the touch pad; nothing! Just move and rest, move and rest.

Anybody any ideas?

Try disabling the touch pad and use a mouse to see if it still happens.

Personally I hate touch pads, the first thing I did when I bought this lap top was go into bios and disable the damn thing.
