G'day i was just wondering how the sorceror handles level 10 spells. Since they are cast as level 9 does this mean if my character has maximum number of level 9 in soa he gets none of the level 10 ones?
Thanks for enlightening me

It treats them as level nine spells, so you would have 10 level "nine" spells. Level 10 spells don't get thier own page.

@psicow: Not exactly, but the guess was good.
Lvl 10 spells cannot be learned by scrolls, you have to sacrifice a special ability point for each. The knowledge of the spell is the special ability. Once you've acquired the spell that way, you can memorize it as a lvl 9 spell. You do not get an extra lvl 9 slot for that.

Are you sure? Because I was under the impression that sorcerors didnt learn spells like normal mages, and didnt have spells to chose to memorize. If this is the case how would it work i cant figure it out?

Level 10 spells are stored in special ability slots . Unlike a specialist mage who copy the spells into his/her spellbook.

For a sorcerer, as soon as you choose the spell from the special ability list - after leveling up - it will be added to the list of 9th level spells. Since sorcerer don't have to memorise spells to cast them, you can cast it the same way you cast 9th level spells, using up the number of times you're allowed to cast 9th level spell per day each time you cast them.
