I already have a question .
How do the ratings work? All I see is blue and white stars under your name. What do they mean?

The ratings: The five blue stars that you see under Edwin's name mean that everyone thinks he's cool. But this can be deceptive - if you click on his profile, you'll see that 21 people have voted for him. This means that he really IS cool (that's a good number of votes).

On the other hand, under my name, you also see 5 blue stars, but if you click on my profile, you'll see that only one person voted for me, so although ONE person thinks I'm cool, that is not a statistically significant sample size, and hence I may not really be cool (although the person who voted for me most assuredly is - thanks whoever you are!).

The more white stars you see under a person name, that means they're not so cool

The rating works as follows:

People vote you 1 to 5 stars depending on how helpful you have been, how useful your information etc etc. 1 being the lowest, 5 the highest.

You can only vote for a particular person once. You cannot change your rating of them in the future.

The weighted score means the average of your ratings over the number of people voted for you. For instance, 5 people voted for you as follows, 3, 5, 4, 4 and 5, then your weight score is 4.2, which is rounded to 4. So you will have four stars.

If we are talking about coolness, then Edwin is cooler than me as he has 21 votes averaging 4.5-5 stars each (the system rounds up or down) and I have 18 votes (thanks for the one today!) averaging 4.39(!). This coolness score I will settle with Edwin in the Gamebanshee members Fantasy Football competition:

The thing is, the more voters you have, the less difference it makes to your overall rating...my overall rating has not changed over the last 6 or 7 votes as the average is shared out over more voters.

And thanks everyone for the nice words....

Don't fret, jaker. I just gave you a good rating, because you were not pissed when I pointed out your mistake in a thread that mentioned summoning creatures near a demon. (Never ever summon creatures near a demon you've gated in. Standard monster demons I think are ok, but a gated in demon will automatically turn your summons hostile)

anybody who can take constructive critism like that and not retaliate by pointing out how badly my typing sucks is a good guy.

(I can't touch type, and am partially blind due to a brain tumor that affect my sight which I had operated on a few months ago.)

Just to show everyone how the rating system works....a couple of minutes ago iwas a 5 stars= COOL
Then 2 persons have rated me low (don't know why..) and i'm again a 4 stars......

So don't give much value to this rating
