Now, what I would like to see is a possible affair between Imoen and Anomen. Maybe she could bring the jerk down to earth.

Well, heck. Since there are thoughts of a MOD of a romance with one's sister, how about one with Viconia and Jaheira? I thought Aerie and Jaheira were heading that way when Aerie said "Your hair looks so pretty in this light, Jaheira." - or something to that effect.

Sigh, have to explain it again. OK, so I really love talking about it

It is *not, repeat NOT a romance MOD. It is labelled "relationship" and it is exactly that, a MOD that will explore the relationship between the PC and Imoen.

Now, this is the important bit, there will be NO SET PATH. This isn't like the game romances where you proceed or stop. If you want to break her mentally, go for it. Want to play the role of big brother? Sure thing. Fancy making a pass at her? You can try, but how will she react?

I am not going to start slapping on checks for things which alignment which tell the PC what they can and can't do, that is NOT role-playing. I intend to leave the options open for the player, and to script appropriate Imoen reactions.

The idea is to flesh Imoen out a bit, she's a very popular NPC, and yet she's got by far the least to say out of any of them. This MOD will simply add more to her, leaving it up to you what kind of relationship you want to aim for.

Oh, and the game leaves the whole incest thing open, but does show Imoen being against such a relationship. That's the position I intend to work from.

Another thing, there won't be any of this one hour timer rubbish. Why does every romance have chat you could set your watch by? Sometimes she might talk to you five minutes after you last chat, or it might be two hours. I might slap in some random numbers just to spice things up (though the random number engine is a bit dodgy).

Basically, this is *not* a romance MOD, it is intended to be a hell of a lot more than that. There will be variables working from the word go. Reloading just before a dialogue to get a different result won't work here, you'll have to go back ten dialogues.

That is all.

Ah, yes, I'll be looking for play testers, but later, much later. Still have to finish Return to Windspear before dedicating myself to the Imoen MOD.
