future patches for SoA and ToB

just wondering if anyone knows if Bioware planning to release a final patch to fix many problems in BG2 including the fixes for romances, or are they just gona forget about BG2 and concentrate on their new game never winter nights.

They are talking about releasing a final patch for ToB all over the Black Isle forums. According to some of the posts I have read, it is supposed to be "very comprehensive and well tested" (grain of salt) whatever that means. They haven't spent a lot of time fixing plot and scripting errors in previous patches, mostly just technical problems that cause serious gameplay crashes. It's a safe bet that the AD&D number crunchers will not be satisfied, as they have not shown a great desire to correct proficiency/THAC0/number of attack errors for NPCs either.

Personally, the only reason I'm looking forward to the release of the "not beta" patch is so that Kevin Dorner can then complete his fixpack for ToB, and fix all the story/proficiency/etc. errors for us anal folk ;)
