Two Questions

1.) Entar Sivershield's Estate -- The guards always attack me, no matter what I say to them. My party is evil and our rep is at 9. Any ideas?...
2.) Edwin can't learn an Identify spell?? There are only so many scrolls in the game...I can't ID all my wands and tomes. What gives?...

@DD, I can't help with the first question, but I just realised that the reason Edwin can't learn an id spell is because he is a conjurer, and the opposite school of magic is divination, so he is barred from learning magic of that group.

bards have amazing lore... they can ID stuff without the identify spell

About Entar Sivershield's Estate... I had the same problem and my rep was much higher, so I don't think rep has anything to do with this. I think the guards will attack ANY intruder. Just send your thief, use stealth to get in, and a lot of speed to get out. It's a solution that won't win a beautycontest but it worked for me.
