When you are ill...

WARNING: Don't read if you are eating, squeamish, or suffer from pain right now.
I've been ill (acute gastritis, I think that's the name. Nasty staff.) and have spent past 36 hours in agony.
During this painful hours, several times I considered to cut my stomach out from my body, remove the painful bit, wash and clean it, apply medicine, then put it back to my body. Or, just leave it outside until it recovers well enough.
Is there anyone else who have ever considered radical solution (not treatment) for the pain, which is, actually, not life threatening?
PS: I've just realised I spelled "squeamish" wrong, even though I checked on my dictionary before posting. That tells you how ill I am...

Before I got surgery done on my hand I always thought of taking some household syringe and plugging it into my ganglion and draining the fluid out. It would cause pain in my hand and sometimes make it somewhat paralyzed. Thank god I got it removed.

Ooooooh yeah. When I'm in the throes of acute anaphylaxis (a really bad asthma attack), I frequently feel like stepping outside my head, and hotwiring my immune system so it doesn't overreact to every little damn thing in the universe. And since even a little exercise leaves me gasping for air, I'd gladly take out my lungs and swap 'em out for a couple of over-the-counter models that were only used on Sundays by a little old lady in Pasadena.

What is it acctually because I thought it was very bad, but is it?
Is Minerva "just ill" or "really ill"?

I've been really ill, though it's better than yesterday. It's basically a very severe stomachache, with bomiting etc. I've been feeling as if someone is grabbing my stomach and squeezing it with brutal force every two minutes or so. I haven't eaten anything since Friday night. I should take fluid to avoid being dehydrated, but even water causes pain immediately.
Thank you for your well wishes.

Thank you, T'lainya.

At least, I don't need to rolling all over my bed in agony now.
I'll answer before people beginning to wonder why I'm online if I were ill
Because:
1. I'm well enough to sit up for a while.
2. I'm bored after spending nearly 48 hours in bed by myself.
3. I'm hungry but cannot eat anything. I need something for my mind off.

I sympathize

I had a case of food poisoning once and I felt like a badger was trying to claw it's way out of my stomach
I have a friend that has a chronic stomach condition and she suffers from terrible pain, difficulties with eating etc.

@T'lainya: I understand that feeling. I have chlonic gastritis, but usually it's not so severe. Once in a while, though , it comes like an attack, and I become like people living in the Nine Hell; crawling the floor and screaming in agony.

It's nice to see you back

Did you enjoy your trip? (I know you got back a while ago, but I haven't talked to you since then

)

Yeah, my trip was great. I went skiing and ate plenty of nice foods in the norths.

I bought a few computer things and need to assemble them. I will need some advice... err, I *may* need some advice that soon.
