Hello, I got some question about dual class.

1) i didn't understand if you can dual class kits, i started a druid avenger but i cant seem to dual it at all, why?

2) I decided to dual a fighter to a druid, but I'd like to know at what level a fighter reaches his lowest THACO, anx xp cap is not a problem, since i got tob too.

It seems i forgot the other questions, let's start with these :)

thx

Only humans can dual.

You can dual class FROM a kit to a normal. Druids are amoung the hardest to dual class(to/from) because they have an aditional prerequisite stat - charism. To dual from a druid you need a Wisdom of 15 AND a charisma of 15 (IIRC - there might be more but I'm at work and can't check the books). To then dual to fighter you'd need a stength of 17 as well.

Going the other way (fighter kit to druid) you'd need 15 strength and then 17 in WISdom and Charism to dual to Druid (Straight).

The fighter THACO goes down 1 per level until ? (The 'book' rules don't suggest it stops ever). In SOA I think it stops (but I don't know where)at a pretty high level. Most dual at level 9 because you get ALL the HP advantages of the fighter and 7 weapon proficencies. At level 13 you get something more important than THACO and that is an additional 1/2 attack so that is probably a good place to Dual. - Curdis !

Can't you dual from a normal class to a kit (ie: fighter dualled to assassins) or to a specialist mage?

Worse news yet Stilgar. If you dual a character in BG1 and then import into BG2 with the latest patch it removes the specialist kit *grr*. - Curdis !

Hi there!

Since we're talking about kits, does anyone know if there is any site to download kits for mages and/or clerics? And if yes, has anyone try them?

TIA
Cheers

I've heard that you can play a Bladesinger in TDD. Is this true?
