Impaler= fantastic spear-oops, just re read your post- you didn't get it? Weird, its normally in the stuff the king drops... maybe he was disintergrated or frozen??

nothing happens if you kill the prince too other than you get a part of another really good weapon. But you don't have to kill him to get it, just get a thief to 'borrow' it

I think what happened was my I using Edwin at that time and you're right I think that he might have cast a disintegrate him because he was in tune with that spell for some reason....I just killed him so I guess I won't have to worry about that anymore.....thanx :D

That's the price you pay for using Disintegrate. A buddy of mine hit Firkraag with Disintegrate and was hacked off that he didn't get the red dragon scales. I told him he should have listened to Lord Vader.

@Nullen, please read Buck's comments in the sticky thread at the top of this category, and follow his requirements, in the future. Thanks. I've edited your title to mention the presence of spoilers.

It might also help if you give some general idea concerning what your questions are about in the thread title, too.

I was wondering why Edwin keeps using that spell so often...it says that his favorite spell is Larloch's Minor Drain...I was also wondering why Anomen keep switching to his mace when I equip him with a warhammer....is it because he is only preficient with the mace at the current level....help is welcome.

More than likely you have scripts enabled. The latern at the bottom right of your toolbar (below the players) has to be deluminated for it to not have a script active. With relation to the weapon, it is what you say. A script will detect the best known weapon (profecieny wise) and will use that one.

Does that help any? :)

That does it thanks a lot...that is probably why I have to actively make my players fight every time we battle.... :) and one other thing when I fight Irenicus why does he run all the time....he never stays put at all....unless I surround him with all of my players....thanx
