Really bad problem

Post by MuDvAyNe0305 »

Well I have the Original Saga version and am playing on Window's XP(Not sure if that has anything to do with it). Any way there have been no problems with the game up until this point, I figured I would level up my character's a little more...so I wander into Flesh Golem Cave, fight and rest...repeat.

Well now everytime I load the game up it crashes and I get this message

" An assertion failed in D:\BGSourceUpdate_TOTSC\dev\Baldur\CPathSearch.cpp at line number 724."

What does this mean, and does anyone know how I can fix this. I've tried Uninstalling/Reinstalling but that doesn't work. Any clues?

I've played BG and ToSC on XP without any problems, the only thing i can think of is that your savegame at this area has been corrupted and you cannot load it, loading a previous save might be the only solution.

Try referring here.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
