Tech question...need quick answer-formatting hard drive

OK, I've had a lot of problems, with installs, finally diagnosed as bad cd rom and replaced today.
I am intending to format c: and reinstall my os from ghost image.
anyway, if I don't want to swap cd roms, do i need to do a full install for BG2 before installing TOB? Or can I just install the recommended 1.2 gig install, install TOB and NOT have to swap cd roms?

Due to an issue with Fat32 as opposed to fat32B, I have a 4 gig primary which I intend not to change unless I absolutely need to, (Worried about MBR issues if I expand partion size using partition magic,) and I use the rest of the hard drive to store data anyway. Please respond.

You need a full install of SOA and a full install of TOB. Only then does CD swaping become redundate (you'll only need to use the TOB cd then)

Thanks!
oh well, 80 meg for the swap file, unless I move swap to extended partiotion, never a good Idea unless you have another hard drive on a different conroller. I might resize using partion magic, but nah, I can make it fit. though when I'm finished with Tob I'll blow everything away and install soa or mechcommander 2
