Question Patches????

I downloaded patches yesterday but I don't know what I am supposed to do with them or how they work or even if they do work...someone please help me out a bit....I really would like to start playing this game sometime in this century.....any and all advice welcome....

If you are talking about v1.3 patch of the game you must first extract it to a temporary directory of the directory of the game, then double click on the "BAP_installer" and the patch will automatically be applied on the game.

more questions
I installed the English patch but I didn't install it into the game directory though....I will try that tonight...let's hope that it works...what do you mean extract it into the directory.....what is the name of the this directory....in cd one or two???step by step would be good...

what is this BAP_installer....how do I get it????

Well the patch file is compressed. the first time you double click on it you will have to choose where those files(that contains the patch) are to be extracted to. it doesn't matter where, just remember where you chose to extract them. Go to the folder that contains the new files and you will find "BAP_installer" file a readme file and a folder named "data". Double click on the BAP_installer.exe" file and the patch will be installed automatically.

So far, I haven't had one crash (knock on wood). I have 1.3 installed. At this point I don't think I would install 1.4 for fear of it causing something.

I can't even get that to install so I am just going to give up and try something else so wish me luck...

Patch v1.4 is not out yet.
