Hello,
I'm looking for a document that details the full stats of the NPCs in SoA. The document should contain weapon proficiencies, level, str, dex etc.
TIA

Welcome to the forum, Bellamar
Why is it that no-one ever seems to check the Gamebanshee site before coming here with their problems? Think of the number of "How do I kill Kangaxx/Demogorgon etc..." threads that just aren't necessary.

But you have to understand some of them are too young to read thoroughly, some of them don't know English and some of them haven't slept for the last 5 days. So you can expect them to be a little whacked!

ya, there is some good information that nobody seems to take advantage of. The only one's that bug me are the how to i kill kangaxx ones. if you read there are tons of no sweat easy ways to get rid of him. i killed him with a wonderful insta-kill via the traps, i'm really rambling now but i haven't slept in over 72 hours so i can't help it.
welcome Bellamar, i'm the everyone hates, so if you're pissed off at something i'm your whipping boy!

IIRC Dan Simpson's FAQ is not so accurate.
Weapon proficiencies are not indicated.
Neither is the level of the NPCs
(this would be pointless, it depends on WHEN you take the NPC with you)

Simpson's FAQ also lacks some valuable info on ToB, but that doesn't make it "not so accurate." It's perfectly accurate, and filled with tons of useful hints on top of the walkthrough element. It would be fairer to say that it isn't "all-inclusive," but then, I doubt this was Dan Simpson's intention in the first place. If you have materials to submit to him, I'm sure he'll include them in the next iteration of his FAQ.

Hello again and thank you for the warm welcome.
I did know about the thorough information found in this site but I was looking for a printable or at least easy-to-reference document. Sorry I didn't make it clearer.
As has been said, Dan Simpson's Walkthrough doesn't list weapon proficiencies and other valueable information.
Nonetheless it's a good read if you're looking for tips and spoilers and can be found here:
http://gamer-news.hypermart.net/baldursgate2/guide.txt
Another version of it can also be found here:
http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/baldurs ... ndex.shtml
That's all for now.
If I decide to make the document myself be sure I'll let you know.

Oh! My poor and fast english betrayed me once again!
Sorry Fable, I really didn't mean that!
Could have used an expression like "it's not accurate to that point",
or something, but here my english grammar is starting to fail....
Before I discovered this forum all my knowledge about BG2 and other
games came directly from Dan Simpson's great faqs, and asked myself
a couple of advices from him, so I'm the last who would say such a thing about his work!!!
Really!
