I would like to welcome you to my new establishment, Aragorn's Hot Boxed Jeep Cheroke. It's an old school car, 2 door, manual transmission, 1988. It's smells really really bad for some reason, well, at least it used to, it is now masked by the smell of 8 air fresheners, plenty of lysol, and of course, much weed. we only got the best dope, i prefer the blueberry, i hear marijuana is legal in the netherlands, so please, bring your stash, you will be reembursed. all are welcome, there's plently of room, bring your bongs and party up!

I grow my own, is that okay, freshly grown in my kitchen sink, it has distinctive spicy taste when you smoke it.
Oh peeyuoui , this place smells, oh well I brought enough marijuana to make anything smell good.
Everyone is welcome to try some, see I made my own special pipe, made out of my brother's asthma inhaler
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)
, who is very sick right now, oh well we all make some sacrifices for the cause, and this pipe really works well with pot.

How do you grow in your kitchen sink? where's the dirt? my backyard is a complete jungle so i'm gonna start doing a little growing myself, i was gonna hook it up with one friend but he actually got shipped to some work camp in Utah. hey, the smell isn't that bad.

Well my kitchen sink, I do not particularly use much so as a consequence, it has accumulated a significant detritus layer, a whole ecology of roaches, spiders, and many other creepy crawlers, so one day when smoking some serious pot with my friends, I decided on the spur of the moment that that sink was the perfect spot to grow pot. I study environmental studies, so I a knew it was perfectly healthy place. And it is tremendously successful, I sell it to everyone around me, and now with your fellow smoking area, I don't have to hide anymore I can be myself
![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)
, pot smoking pot dealer, and bring it all to the innocence of the SYM threads, and corrupt them most severely

i still want to know about the legality of marijuana in other countries, i've heard that it's pretty chills over on the continent. Here in CA they've actually made it so that if you're a minor nothing happens if you have it, just a MIP, minor in possesion, just some warning. you don't even get fined.

Marijuana shouldn't be as put upon by the authorities as it has been, it is a essentially benign drug, and certainly not as addictive or as dangerous as cigarettes or alcohol. Why it is banned in the US is beyond me, I mean for Gags sake marijuana is put on the same scale as cocaine or heroin. I mean did you know that the original American constitution was made of hemp, most the early founders probably smoked pot, there was many different uses for pot at the time. Why it is looked upon as a Schedule I drug in most of the United States just completely confuses me.
I am from the US, but I have smoked pot, who says I smoked it legally though.

As far as I know it's illegal in most countries all over the world with the exception of Holland. (But I'm not sure..maybe someone out there knows ..)
OWNING and smoking is a minor offence, but if you grow it or sell it you're in DEEP Sh**t . It depends on the amount... (I'm from Austria and here you're only fined a small amount if you can prove it's just your personal stash - up to 10g I think...have more than that and your fried...)
BTW - The smell in here is really greeeeeaaaaat........
![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)
makes me happy.....
No worries !

*eeks*
Do you know what my fiancee would do to me if I stepped foot in here?
Especially being that it's apparently grown on the bodies of dead spiders...which though natural, is a bit scary

No, both use and possession is illegal in most European countries, the UK, Portugal and Belgium have recently softened their laws though so use and possession for personal use only, is now decriminalised. Apart from legal aspects, there are of course the question of how tolerated use of marijuana is in a certain country. In Scandinavia, where I live, it is less accepted than at the European continent and the UK.

I'm not very good at US history, other people like Fable and High Lord Dave might fill me in, but I believe there are several reasons why marijana/cannabis is banned in the US. The big cotton producers viewed hemp production as a threat since hemp is also a good material to make cloth of. During the depression between the world wars, selling alcohol at the black market was bug business, and I think it was lobbyed then that cannabis products should remain illegal. Later, the tobacco industry has of course lobbyed to keep cigarettes legal and marijuana legal although the health risks are roughly the same, with marijuana being less physically addictive.
I wouldn't say though that marijuana is less dangerous than cigarettes and alcohol, they are quite different kinds of drugs and difficult to compare, but IMO the health risks are about the same. The psychoactive compound in marijuana is THC, and the amount of THC in marijuana you buy on the street varies greatly depending on how the marijuana was produced. Other compounds (there are well over 400) include the same and/or similar compounds as tobacco smoke, and have similar effects over long time, just about 4-5 times more cancerogen.

Hmm, this is news to me. I wouldn't know that it has been officially decriminilised in the UK, but I would hazard that the cost of prosecuting an individual for possession of a small amount, is being weighed up against the severity of the 'offense'. *shrugs*

Sorry, I think I might have misunderstood how the reclassification will work - this A, B, C system you have in the UK is totally different from how Swedish authorities classify drugs or narcotics. it seems the new classification will make possession a non-arrestable offence, but still a criminal offence. But what about use? Is seems that use is not illegal.
Please read this Ysh, and tell me what you think:

@CE - thank you for the link
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)
So the drug has been downgraded..I should pay more attention
![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/)
However, I believe it would be more likely that a police officer finding someone in possession of a small amount, may be given the freedom to reprimand rather than arrest and charge. However, a class C drug is still controlled substance, so you are right - it is still a criminal offence to be in possession - though somewhat contradictory if you consider some of these drugs are actually prescribed drugs.... I would read this report to suggest that possession
may on occasion not be an arrestable offence, rather than will no longer. Again, this would probably depend on circumstances at the time possession is found
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)
Regarding use, this report says nothing - that is amusing really!
![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)
but I guess it would be difficult to use without first being in possession - and possession has more implications legally than use... ie the intent to supply...
I understand that part of the move to downgrade cannabis was also from a medical perspective, since it had been proven to help people with multiple sclerosis

Come on don't anyone want to smoke my homegrown pot, I give special discount rates, and always free samples at first.
I mean it's not really dirty, it is very ecological, and the dead spiders add a nice psychoactive compenent that is da bombbey,
You know I am of the opionion that everyone should take drugs just to improve their sullen modds.
