Is there a way to keep this gem without "turning over to the dark side"
It's sounds wicked and I think I may want it when I get there.. But how do I keep it without, you know.. going evil

Question, If Imoen is your ONLY their just HOW MANY potions of thievery am i going to need? And where do I get em?

Well, Potion of Mastery Thievery raises your pickpockets by 45% I think. Also, taking off whatever armour Imoen is wearing will take away the penalty she would suffer by wearing it. (See pg 233 of the Manual)
Unless you brought PMT with you into hell, they arent available anywhere.

Actually, I looked at the sword and with my overall equipment, it didn't seem that great after all. Most of its abilities I had on half my chars, the sword wasn't too tempting.

besides, both blackrazor and gram, if you kill a monster by level drain can waste loot!!! you get the shatter animation, and others in forum have confirmed they think they have lost loot using black razor...
which is only +3, totally insufficient for some of the really nastys coming up...
