Question about assasin

My max HP is 55. I rest and am at 55/55. Cast larloch's minor drain on myself and go up to 65/67. Cast in again and go to 67/69. Cast Vampiric touch and go up to 90/92. Whats up with that? All of these are cast on myself. Is this a bug or is it supposed to happen?

Both Larlochs minor drain and Vampiric touch drain life (hp) from your opponents and gives it to you.
Check the spell descriptions out in your manual, or I believe Sabre of someone has a spell chart
Vamp Touch pg 131,
Larlochs pg 112.

Do you have an Iuon Stone or other constitution/H.P altering item equiped?
This often causes the 2 H.P. difference. - Curdis !

But how long do they stay for. Or do they run out. You must be casting these spells at some one???

well
i cast them on myself. and it goes from 90 down to 75 after awhile. But 75 is still better than 55 hehe.

known bug. self accumulative with iteslf, try it on cute, furry bunny rabbits!!!
this is why some sorc manuals suggest getting vampire touch, so you can boost temporary hit point gain, for nasty major battles...
hardly worth it, as belt of con will do so much better for you later on, and best of all, raise con, then equipp with defense or str belt...
