new funny dialog, and 3 lemon spells....

is wensday, so user is up to talking about spells again....

now, i am running with nalia in my party as sole thief, and frankly, she sucks badly. immie is much better, but nalia is a good mage, and If she really gets on my neerve with her skills, I can use deck of many things and lums machine to inc, her dex, which will automatically make her more skilled thief. neato trick, eh? so I always make sure she memorizes many knocks. gee, guess why...grrrr. So I am in docks, and she happens to cast knock at a open chest....I get


"gee I guess this door was open after all...."

hee hee!!!

now, currently i am trying the cleric, mage kensai. I still think for pure evil the kensai sorc is by far the most powerful purely offensive killing machine, but a cleric mage kensai is seriously evil. one word, righteous magic.....oops, two words....

long duration kai with draw on holy might at high levels.....50 damage per hit with sword of chaos!!!!

the cleric mage has a lot of spells, but the trick is to load up cleric pool with combo of offensive and ability enhancers. tensors transform, holy power and champions str all suck. tensors disables spells....including GREATER WHIRLWIND!!! plus not even my spell triggers would work...bad mojo if you a multiclass fighter, spell caster...

holy power actually is pretty good if youre playing legally and use fighte rcleric mage...but I lose thaco at high levels, casue I applyied the kensai kit....

chapions str has nice thaco bonus and hit point bonus, but also disables all spells....


now you guys think ok, tensors and champions all gives you some nice hit point bonus, so you can survive longer. but a cleric mage fighter is seriously evil, and almost unkillable...

contingency-> mass heal at 50% hit points, or a heal if really bad foe makes the cleric mage fighter unkillable...

offensively, think holy word, sunfire, and remove magic in a chaincontingency set on yourslef, and triggered by enemy sight. use whirlwind to close the range to meelee, attack with righteous magic active, and wait a few seconds until chain goes off, good chance of deafening spell caster, and the remove magic takes down its defenses.

I noticed with kensai sorc, most of the time I whacked enemy with weapons, so I tried to come up with a char with good spell abilities, but ability modifiers up the kazoo, and some offensive arsenal, abu dahzim, anyone, and ability to hurl spells unaffected by magic resist and saves...bolts of glory and holy word, any one? even added my fav druid spells for fun...

If you are going to twink your character, why not a become a kensai/sorcerer/assassin?

Samcu, buddy, I did do a sorc kensai assassin...

gave him 3 poison weapons, and if I wanted to, i could have edited the affects file following the guide someone posted on this forum, I could have managed backstab multipliers. you edit the effects tab of sk, ands by adding a line of code, I could have added x12 backstab...

I thought that was a bit too much...worried about overloading the engine in processing all the damage calulations....giggle....

I am getting to dislike the kensi cleric mage, its not a kit I enjoy, I still love the sheer intoxicating speed of the kensai, whirling into battle, and letting off a volley of spells,


hmmm...next project of mine might be the perfect spell table of the kensai sorc, and some further expeeriments of the ridiculously overpowered hack I have done...

sorcs are the funnest kit to play....
