I have had Cernd for sometime, but his child quest is not happening.
Can anyone tell me his Local variables, so I can spawn the messenger?

not going to work, you must reload BEFORE you fight faldorn for druid grove. I have had same problem, and have tried spawning the neighbor to try to jump start the quest. but this does not work.

Cernd MUST be the one to fight faldorn for this quest to spawn.

I don't think that is correct. I had Jaheira fight Faldorn when I played it first time, and there was no trouble with Cernd' quest.

IIRC there is no messenger,you must go to his home in Waukeen´s Promenade

Actually it's his old neighbor. He tells cernd about his familly, then you can go to his house, and find squatter. Without that neighbor, there is no one in his house. I think spawning that neighbor messenger can start the quest, but I don't know where to find that neighbor's name.

sabre told me the guys name, but spawning him lead nowhere. I think with tob, or the balderdash patch, you must have cernd fight faldorn...I've tested this, and it looks true...

I've taken a look with IE, and it appears that Cernd's quest should start as long as he's in your party when you defeat Faldorn. The game is picky about where Igarol, Cernd's neighbor can spawn - basically only in an outdoor area, excluding most of Athkatla. The few times I've had Cernd in the party, I've only encountered Igarol in Waukeen's Promenade.

If you want to try to force Igarol's appearance, move your party to the Promenade, and enter the following at the console:

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("CEIGAROL")

If Cernd doesn't speak to him right away, hold your mouse cursor over Cernd and press CRTL+I until dialog starts. Hope this helps!
