so herre i was fooling around with a new hacked char, I load up a spell trigger with triple bolts of glory, and I am in chapter 2, and i spot a thief or warrior type, and I wanted to watch him suffer. unload the ttrigger just as he went invisible!!! spell fizzles, and got message unable to target invisble creatures... well I had no other spell sequencer or minor sequecer going, but my portrait icons till shows sequencer active, and unable to cast spell trigger, as it is still active. I know this problem has been discussed in this forum before, but here is my bent on it, I think you should load up on triggers and sequencers, but set up to cast on yourslef, thus the only way you could get this problem, which nobody ever solved I think, is to accidentally have staff of magi equipped...duh!!!

this reflects my new philosophy on spell triggers and sequencers, use them to enhance or defend your character, but fight with chain contingency and contingency...huh? the lowly spell contingency? a much over looked spell, but quite powerful...think why you love chain contingency, to take advantage of the 4 spells per round exploit....

cast chaincontingency in the pause at the beginning of the round, while still paused you can load up a chain, then after you finsh cast your regular spell. th chain fires during your offensive round, and you have cast 4 spells in one round.

but you can get this up to five!!!

in th pause beginning hte round, cast chaincontingency, load up, and finish. while still in pause, cast contingency, cast, then finsh. cast spell, and you now have 5 spells in the air!!!

ALL without increased acuity...

true, contingency targets only yourself...

sunfire, skull trap...(make sure you have cast prot from magic energy or prot from energy beforehand...the evil skull fire spell...) improved haste, cloud kill, if you have ring of gaxx, immunity to poison does not work perfectly, but well enough to handle with regen, false dawn, many others come to mind.

think single effect fixed stationary radius damage spells...

anyway, in my estimateion, triggers and sequencers are safer as pc enhancers or emergency cast on self for defensive purposes, but you should fight with chain contingency and single cast spells....

and the much underappreciated contingency spell...

this so rocks on a sorceror!!!
