I Can't get a decent enough team going

Post by robinhood7 »

Ahhhh!!! I have been trying to make my party for at least an hour. I've tried just about every combination possible. I want a decent "looking" party while having a good stats wise team. Please help me by listing out all the parties youve started. (I tried putting into account the NPCs that will join, if possible could you do the same.) Thanx alot!!!!

Solo's - First was a Cleric/Barbarian/Rogue (wound up 16/8/8), stats were great. Second was a Paladin/Monk (wound up 16/16), stats were also great. Obviously, any solo gets all of the power ups for him or herself.

You can also do a two or three character party. If three, I'd recommend a Cleric/Paladin, Fighter/Monk, and Sorcerer/Rogue (or Barbarian/Rogue if, like me, you think sorcerers are a waste of time and underpowered). This will let you use all of the items in the game, you can spread the stats out but generally boost the important ones with items, etc. and you will get 32 levels a piece.

If two, I'd say go with a cleric/paladin and a rogue/fighter (or rogue/monk/fighter).

If you just want to set up a general party of 4 with the expectation of taking two NPC's, it seems to me that you'd start cleric (expecting to double to paladin), fighter (doubling to monk), rogue (doubling to barbarian) and ranger (doubling to cleric/monk/fighter/barbarian, take your pick). Youd add Jarial for the sorcerer and could double him to some fighter class. And you could pick up either Emmeric or Faeril (I think that was her name) later on.

I decent party to start with is one that consists from a
Paladin (go up to 6th level and then start adding levels to cleric)
Rogue(you can either multi him to fighter or sorcerer so choose what stats you want to impove at first, strenght for fighter charisma for sorcerer)
Barbarian or a pure fighter (then multi him either to rogue or monk). (3 members are enough to handle the first dungeons)

Jarial (Sorcerer) and Emmeric (fighter) are the 2 first NPCs that you can recruit pretty much early in the game, so keep that in mind if you are planning to create any character with these classes.
