Hi,
Just started a multplayer party to do a solo game with a self made party of 5. From the start Imoen joins the group, seems i have no choice. Do I have to wait till she gets taken after the Prison, or is there another way to get het out of my party??

Simply remove her from the party. She finds her way out on her own.

Or send her out to do battle by herself. That way you get rid of her plus you maybe kill a few enemies as well.

Is that true with other NPC's in Irenicus' cave? Do Minsc, Jaheira and what-was-his-name-thief-SOB come to surface on their own, and is it possible to get them to your party after that?

they do come to athkatla on their own, u can get minsc and yoshi at the copper coronet, jaheira at the citadel in the docks (galvarey house).
imoen just stands right beside u and the usual scene happens as u leave the dungeon.
to boot an NPC go to the char sheet and click on that button lower left. dunno how its titled in english version.

You're absolutely correct about that (me being evil).
I usually kick them all out ASAP because I want no "we're all heroes"-type rangers, no super-annoying arrogant whining druid wannabe party-leaders and certainly no little sisters in my party. Don't you think that I'm donating a single XP to any of them!
Once I'm out I'm usually hiring some more competent characters, first of all the dwarven mass-murderer. And then I embark for a little killing spree.
Jaheira of course sometimes gets her chance to become a useful member of the party, if I'm in the right mood for druid-sacrificing she may serve me well in the selfish test in hell.
Don't get me wrong, I'm only Daddy Bhaal's little son.

Hehe, I have to agree on that one too, but I already played BG2 and TOB with her, so nwo I want to play it with the ones I want

If you don't let Jaheira join the party when you release her, you will not be able to get her to join the party later. If you let her join and then remove her from the party, then she'll be in the Dock district.

I think he's referring to playing multiplayer game all by himself. That way he can generate more characters "of his own".

This whole thread shouldn't even exist.
I knew it from the title.
I curse you all for your unspeakable and unbelievable
Evilness.
(And I curse myself for bumping this thread!
)
The light of righteousness shall blind you all and put an end
to your demonic actions.
Leaving poor little Immie alone... one could ALMOST forgive that!
But... sending her to death!!!!!
(Anyway she's protected from any kind of death in the beginning,
ahahaha, take this!!
)

Uhm, nobody was talking about sending Imoen to death (Jaheira is an entirely different matter). But I'm still not letting my little sister into my party when I go out and slay liches, dragons and worse (eg a certain "Imprisonend One") while teamed up with a dwarfen sociopath. Maybe that's the last little stain of "goodness" in my character's soul. Besides not killing children, squirrels and cats, that is.

guys, this is true evil, I plan on keeping her, but after asylum, I will experiment on her...trying her out as a high level assassin mage dual, first turning her into a assassin, poor helpless immie, ravaged by this mad dude with a
shadow transmogrifier,
what sk looks like within the game, pointing its crystaline tip at her and hitting her with a violet ray, and she turns into a assassin!!!
she is then forced to level up, which make her puke her guts out then dualed into a mage....
oh immie, sorry, but I have a bhaal driven need to experiment...
me so bad...

I've overlooked that one!
Altough I've got no problem to impersonate evil characters I must say that letting your little sister die at the hands of a bunch of imps and kobolds is an intolerable act of, uhhhm, vileness!
