yet another cheese tactic...str spell on swords...

fav summons are usually swords for most people, if asked. skellies are nice, but swords have the edge for toughness and sheer killing ability. who hasnt summoned a sword and tried using imp haste and imp invisibility and chant and bless to see if you cant send into room and watch it chop everything up, and wished you could improve on it?
found out mordenkained swords have strength of 12!!! i used one with str spell on a room full of monsters, and could that thing cut!!! thaco improved too, and impr haste would make it into a cuisinart....
for especially tough battles, most are preset, a group of 5 swords, or more summoned by sorc using image, could all be str and possibly impr hasted, that should make them vicious beyond belief.
spiders have str 14, still pretty bad, so they could be str spelled too...
